El jurado del 8º Concurso de Ensayos estuvo integrado por los destacados intelectuales y artistas Gerardo Mosquera, Luis Camnitzer y María José Delpiano que seleccionó a seis ganadores: Francisca García, Paulina E. Varas, Renzo Filinich, Raiza Ribeiro, Magdalena Dardel, Camila Estrella. Los ensayos resultantes abordan temáticas tan claves como la relación entre arte y tecnología en los albores del siglo XX, el activismo y los archivos, la modernidad, las prácticas de artistas en el exilio, y los cruces internacionales con figuras como Guillermo Deisler, Robert Rauschenberg, Darío Quiñones o Cecilia Vicuña.

The jury of the 8th Essay Contest was made up of the outstanding intellectuals and artists Gerardo Mosquera, Luis Camnitzer and María José Delpiano who selected six winners: Francisca García, Paulina E. Varas, Renzo Filinich, Raiza Ribeiro, Magdalena Dardel, Camila Estrella. The resulting essays address themes as key as the relationship between art and technology at the dawn of the 20th century, activism and archives, modernity, the practices of artists in exile, and international crossings with figures such as Guillermo Deisler, Robert Rauschenberg , Darío Quiñones or Cecilia Vicuña.
